Self Care in the Jungle
It’s a period where many of us are not high-fiving life. We’re not cartwheeling into the office, fist pumping the receptionist and starting the day with glee. In fact many of us are in lockdown, isolated, alone, frightened, frustrated at the very least. We’re all finding ourselves coping in whichever way we can with our current situations. It’s helps to share our stories, to come together as comrades. Rachel Morgan Mcintosh is simply another solider in the foothills of the modern world, she’s also an incredible human and story teller. Todays podcast is a frank conversation on surviving our current situation and coming together in our humanity. We do this through coping, caring and laughing. I’m super excited to welcome Rach onto the show. Here’s is the brilliant woman’s bio.
Rachael Mogan McIntosh is a crisis counsellor, community trainer, writer, ethics teacher and bathtub aficionado. She lives with her three children, sexy nerd Keith, and naughty mutt Biggles on the south coast of NSW. She’s spent ten years freelancing for magazines, newspapers and online publications, including The Saturday Paper, Sydney Morning Herald and The Age, the Good Weekend and Sunday Life Magazines, News.com, Babble.com, and the New York Post. She wrote a parenting column for a national magazine for seven years. Rachael’s agent is currently looking for a publisher for her first book, Mothering Heights, while she writes her second, a fish-out-of-water romp about a year spent in the South of France; an astonishing, odd concept in this lockdown moment.
Listen in for a real and frank chat. And to conclude I’ll also leave us with some practical strategies and practices to manage anxiety, survive, and where possible, thrive in our current situation. So please do ensure to listen to the end, as you’ll find some absolute gold when I share game-changing methodology to enhance your life.
